Now I’m not too familiar with splitboards or even snowboards for that matter but I am familiar with the Dynafit AT binding. Check out this rig. A splitboard with Dynafit Speeds on it AND splitboard bindings. It’s from a post on splitboard.com.
From a skiing and climbing perspective the boots make sense; they’ll climb better off the board than a snowboard boot. I’m still trying to get an idea of what the entire ski binding is for? Obviously better touring, maybe splitboard risers are horrible? Click into heel for a bit more control in those up and down sections of the tour I guess.
Pretty cool set up though and a heck of a lot easier than snowshoeing with a board on your back! Cool to see how all these disciplines and the equipment mold together.
Anyone have any input for a rookie to the whole splitboard thing?
